Tiger Swallowtail on Poison Ivy


A Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) rests on poison ivy, but it doesn't seem to mind. The larvae of tiger swallowtails eat several varieties of trees, including the tulip tree and the wild cherry, but they rarely eat enough to be noticeable.
